Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on when rail services will commence from Belfast Grand Central Station.

Answer:

The Department is responsible for ensuring NI Railways’ regulatory compliance with the rail safety and interoperability regulations and grants authority for new infrastructure to enter into service.

Officials are working through the process with the safety of the travelling passengers paramount. Translink have now announced that rail services will commence from 13th October..
