Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether he will meet with Breast Cancer Now to discuss secondary breast cancer data collection.

Answer:

The Department is currently working with Breast Cancer Now as part of the work to review Breast Cancer Services in Northern Ireland. They are also involved in an audit of breast cancer services with HSC Trusts.

The Northern Ireland Cancer Registry is currently conducting an audit of metastatic breast cancer that was funded by Cancer Focus NI.

The working relationship between the Department, wider HSC and Breast Cancer Now has been very productive and we would have no hesitation in agreeing to a request for a meeting.
