Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister whether the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation is constrained to matters of health and safety, site security, essential maintenance and supporting the current tenants in the absence of Ministerial agreement on the future use of the site.

Answer:

The Development Corporation is currently charged with maintaining and managing the site, carrying out essential health and safety works, and supporting the existing tenants.

The Development Corporation seeks as far as possible to maintain a state of readiness for future development. This includes continuing to consider possible approaches to regeneration of the site and provide advice and options for the future.
