Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure, pursuant to AQW 12084/22-27, for an update on (i) regulations for graduated driver licences; and (ii) a timeline for implementation.

Answer:

Full implementation of graduated driver licensing requires substantial dedicated funding, 3 sets of Regulations and significant operational planning activity.

I have sought legal advice that will help me determine the best way forward, and I expect to receive that shortly. At this stage however, I am unable to provide a timeline for GDL implementation.
