Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether he plans to launch public health campaigns that raise awareness of the links between environmental issues, such as pollution and climate change, and health.

Answer:

The Public Health Agency has no current plans in place to develop campaign programmes to raise awareness about links between environmental issues and health.

At this time, the Agency is actively exploring the priorities for its new corporate strategy, to be launched in 2025. In this context, the Agency is aware of the increasing need to raise awareness around a range of important health conditions.
