Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail any steps that can be taken to provide additional support this winter for people with cystic fibrosis who require a warm home to stay well.

Answer:

Depending on individual circumstances, a person with cystic fibrosis may have access to certain disability and/or income-related benefits in the social security system. To ensure a person is in receipt of all the support they are entitled to they should contact the Department for Communities’ Make the Call Service via Freephone number 0800 232 1271 or by emailing makethecall@dfcni.gov.uk.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust can provide a range of grants for people with cystic fibrosis and their families.
