Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail the data his Department is collecting from childcare providers, including childminders, through the Northern Ireland Childcare Subsidy Scheme.

Answer:

Data is provided by childcare providers when they register for the scheme as follows:-

•Provider name

•Contact details

•HSCT registration details

•Type of registration

•Provider type

•Management type

•Days open, open / closing time, weeks open annually

•Frequency of invoice to parents, start date for preparing invoices

•Fee structure

•Child level usage i.e. number of days attended per week

•Bank details

Providers are also required to provide invoice details for each of the eligible children within their provision on a monthly basis.
