Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in light of their strategy on violence against women and girls, to detail the action their Department is taking following the Research Report 2024, When you know what they are capable of: Paramilitary-related Gendered Coercive Control.

Answer:
The Strategic Framework to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) seeks to address the range of violence, abuse and harm faced by women and girls here, and recognises the need to work collaboratively across both government and society in tackling all forms of violence including paramilitary violence.
Our officials in the EVAWG Programme team continue to work closely with their counterparts in the Executive Programme on Paramilitarism & Organised Crime (EPPOC).
Senior officials from each Programme attend and participate in the governance arrangements of other Programme, ensuring full visibility and alignment of all actions.
