Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy to detail the number of pre-consultation meetings he held with (i) trade union representatives; and (ii) business organisations in relation to the Good Jobs Employment Rights Bill public consultation.

Answer:

Prior to the launch of the public consultation on 1 July, I held one meeting where a range of trade union and business representatives were present. I held a second meeting with a business representative organisation and its membership.

I have also participated in number of relevant engagements during the consultation period. Departmental officials have also facilitated or participated in a range of other engagements relating to the consultation, both before and during the consultation period.
