To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the plans for developing the roles and functions of statutory youth services.

Answer:

There are no current plans to develop the role and function of statutory youth services. A review of the Priorities for Youth policy is currently in progress and this will inform further developments within both the statutory and voluntary youth sectors.
