To ask the Minister of Education when he will formally respond to the departmentally-funded Fair? Shared? Supported? research report.

Answer:

My department is committed to engaging further with Comhairle na Gaelscolaíochta (CnaG) to discuss the concerns regarding the shortage of Irish-medium teachers highlighted in the report published by Queens University Belfast (‘Fair? Shared? Supported? Examining expectations and realities for Irish-medium practitioners’). We are in the process of examining their recommendations and engaging with CnaG on this issue.
