To ask the Minister for Infrastructure why an evening ferry service has not been included in the foot passenger Strangford ferry schedule.

Answer:

My Department procured a passenger only vessel to maintain an essential link between Portaferry and Strangford during the essential slipway works. With a limited number of suitable boat operators available and complying with MCA and HSENI requirements the safest possible solution has been provided.
