Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities whether his Department plans to legislate on introducing a fit and proper persons test requirement for (i) new; and (ii) existing caravan owners.

Answer:

At present my Department has no plans to bring forward legislation in respect of introducing a fit and proper person test for a site owner. I note that the issue did not arise as a major concern during the 2021 Review of the Caravan Act (NI) 2011.
