Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister to detail the timeline for (i) when the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation business plan will be signed off; and (ii) when a plan for the future direction of the site will be published.

Answer:

The Board of the Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation met with the TEO Permanent Secretary on 27 February 2025. Since that meeting, we have received advice from officials on the options for the board and the immediate priorities. This is currently under consideration.

No decisions have yet been made on the future of the site.

The Maze/Long Kesh Development Corporation revised business plan was approved on 15 April 2025.
