To ask the Minister of Health to detail the data available on the (i) demographic; and (ii) surgery type of patients being treated in elective orthopaedic hubs in the last five years.

Answer:

My Department does not hold the information in the format requested. As a breakdown into specific procedures would have yielded many areas of very small numbers that could make patients identifiable, it is not possible to provide the information requested.

My Department provides official statistics on general activity and waiting lists which can be accessed on the Department’s website.
