Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities for an update on his Department's decision in relation to the provision of a Christmas Goodwill Grant in 2024.

Answer:

Officials are currently preparing a business case for consideration should funding be available.

My Department has undertaken an equality impact assessment on its Budget. Informed by responses received, and any further Budget allocations received in October Monitoring, the final report is expected to publish in November, at which point I expect to be able to finalise budget allocations.
