Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure (i) to detail the number of times the Flood Strategy Steering Group has met since October 2023; and (ii) to provide the minutes of these meetings.

Answer:

'The Flood Strategy Steering Group (FSSG), which is chaired by my Rivers Directorate, is a high level group which meets to discuss policy and strategy around flood risk management. In 2024 the group met on 29 February 2024, 27 June 2024 and recently on 16 October 2024. Minutes from the February and June meetings have been deposited in the Assembly Library. The October minutes are still being agreed and will be deposited in the Assembly Library once finalised. You will note that some information has been redacted, i.e. policy work still in development, or the attendees names from different agencies outside of my Department, whose permission could not be sought in the time allowed to respond to your request.
