To ask the Minister for Communities when he will introduce a new Building Safety Act.

Answer:

My officials are currently working with major stakeholders to co-design a building safety policy for Northern Ireland. I hope to bring this to the Executive in early 2027, with a view to introducing a Building Safety Bill at the start of the next Assembly mandate.
