To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 9863/22-27, to provide an update on his departmental review of Further Education student support.

Answer:

The departmental review of Further Education student support is ongoing. Further to the recommendations made in the report commissioned from the Strategic Investment Board, my officials are liaising with the Departmental Solicitors Office for advice to ensure that were these recommendations to be taken forward, they would be legally compliant and in accordance with current legislative provisions.
