Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to detail what statutory and non-statutory youth services he has visited or met to date since taking office.

Answer:

Since coming to office I have not visited any statutory youth services, however I have visited or met with the following youth service settings delivered by the community and voluntary sector:

Uniformed Organisations - joint meeting with Girls Brigade, Northern Ireland, Boys Brigade Northern Ireland, Girl Guiding Ulster, Scouts Northern Ireland & Scouting Ireland;

Youth Action (NI) – joint meeting with Boys and Girls Clubs Northern Ireland, BYTES, YMCA, Youth Initiatives & Youth Work Alliance;

Resurgam Youth Initiative

Ledley Hall Boys & Girls Club;

Fóram na nÓG;

Duke of Edinburgh;

Girl Guiding Ulster;

North Belfast Youth Providers– joint meeting with New Lodge Youth Centre, Ardoyne Youth Centre, Streetbeat, Shankill Womens Centre, Holy Family Youth Centre & Ashton Community Trust.
