To ask the Minister of Education whether the need for intergenerational learning will be reflected in the Review of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.

Answer:

The review of the Northern Ireland curriculum, to be undertaken by Lucy Crehan, will make a series of policy recommendations regarding the purpose, design, specification and implementation of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. The review will commence shortly; therefore, it is too soon to comment on priority areas of inquiry. However, it is unlikely that the final report will include detailed proposals on individual course/subject content.
