Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail why water infrastructure costs are not included in Social Housing Grants.

Answer:

The Housing Association Guide sets out clearly what Registered Housing Associations can claim as part of the Housing Association Grant.

As per the Guide, any infrastructure costs (including sewers, connections or sustainable drainage systems (SUDs) which are within the boundaries of the Social Housing development will be deemed as qualifying scheme costs and therefore eligible for Grant.
