Question:
To ask the Minister of Education when payments arising from the pay and grading review for non-teaching staff will be made.

Answer:

Due to affordability considerations, the Pay & Grading agreement will be implemented in two stages. Stage 1 will move eligible staff onto their new pay scales with effect from 1 April 2024. The Education Authority have advised these payments will be made in November 2024 as part of the normal pay process. Payments for Stage 2 of the agreement will be made in the next financial year, in line with the agreed settlement.
