To ask the Minister of Education to detail any advice he has received from officials in relation to meeting the Loyalist Communities Council.

Answer:

My officials routinely provide advice to me in relation to invitations from a range of schools, organisations and individuals. As Minister of Education, I may choose to accept that advice or ignore it.

On this occasion, I felt it was important to hear the views of the Loyalist Communities Council on educational underachievement I am content that that was the right decision.
