Question:
To ask the First Minister and deputy First Minister how the priority projects currently being worked on by the Strategic Investment Board relate to the Programme for Government.

Answer:

SIB is engaged to support individual projects at the request of the relevant lead department, whose priorities will be informed by the Programme for Government. SIB attaches the highest importance to supporting departments to achieve the outcomes set out in the draft PfG, including major infrastructure and investment projects.

SIB developed the draft Investment Strategy NI in parallel with TEO’s work on the Programme for Government and has ensured that it is consistent with the priorities of the Executive.
