To ask the Minister of Education for an update on outstanding capital projects for schools in Lagan Valley.

The design proposed for the extension and refurbishment of the building is currently being reviewed, with a view to increasing the provision.
Parkview School
Special Educational Needs Investment Programme.
A feasibility exercise has commented to explore options to provide a five-class accommodation block.
Specialist Provision in Mainstream (SPiM)
One of the strands of my SEN capital investment programme focuses on the creation of additional specialist provision classes in mainstream schools. For the 2024/25 school year, 112 new SPiM classes have been created, four of which are in the Lagan Valley constituency. These are at Carr Primary School (PS), Fort Hill Integrated PS, Old Warren PS and St Colman’s PS.
In addition, there are several ongoing minor works capital projects that are too numerous to mention in the Lagan Valley constituency.
