To ask the Minister of Education to detail the stakeholders from the health sector that will be invited to contribute to the Task and Finish Group on Reduction and Management of Restrictive Practices in Educational Settings.
Answer:
In finalising a list of organisations invited to join the Reduction and Management of Restrictive Practices in Educational Settings Task and Finish Group, consideration was given to those who expressed an interest in participating in the Group, alongside suggestions from a number of other stakeholders. The following stakeholders have been invited to join the Task and Finish Group: Public Health Agency Royal College of Nursing Northern Ireland Teaching Council Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People Children’s Law Centre Education Authority Representatives of Post Primary Mainstream, Primary Mainstream, Special Schools and EOTAS
