Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether his Department will directly engage with the family to purchase the final piece of land required to complete the B101 North Lisburn feeder road, Pond Park Link, in order to progress this issue.

Answer:

The North Lisburn Feeder Road is a developer led scheme associated with residential development in north Lisburn. There is an Article 122 Agreement in place between the North Lisburn Development Consortium (NLDC) and my Department to facilitate the acquisition of the final piece of land required, by using the Department’s vesting powers, if necessary, to complete the scheme between the B101 at Lady Wallace Avenue joining the Pond Park Road just north of Old Park Road.

As this is a developer led project, my Department would not engage / negotiate with the landowner.
