Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance whether her Department is implementing any measures to reduce general waste in buildings used by her Department or its arm's-length bodies.

Answer:

I intend to publish a social value strategy in early 2025 which will outline the measures my Department will take to improve its practice, policies and procurement spend in relation to social, economic and environmental impacts. This will include how it will reduce its waste and increased the amount of recycling within its office estate.
