To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail the number of joint Driver and Vehicle Agency and PSNI road safety operations that were carried out since the introduction, in 2024, of calibrated sound meters to assist with the enforcement of noisy and nuisance vehicle noise emissions at the roadside.

Answer:

From 12 June to 17 November 2024, the Driver and Vehicle Agency has carried out eight joint road safety operations with PSNI where calibrated noise meters were used to measure noise emissions from vehicles at the roadside.
