To ask the Minister of Health when the evaluation of the Physician Associate role will be concluded.

Answer:

My Department intends that this evaluation will conclude by the end of the current financial year. However, this timeframe may now be complicated by the need to take into account any relevant learning from the independent review of PAs in England announced on 20 November 2024.
