Question:
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs to detail any additional funding that will be available to support regulatory and environmental health functions in local authorities.

Answer:

My Department currently supports regulatory and environmental health functions across our District Councils, such as through the Local Air Quality Management Grant.

However, at present, I do not have plans for the Department to further fund District Councils beyond what is currently available in the 2024/25 year.
