Question:
To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 17770/22-27, to provide specific timelines for the completion of the in progress recommendations identified in the joint framework with the Northern Ireland Teachers' Council.

Answer:

Through negotiation with the Northern Ireland Teachers’ Council (NITC) a framework has been agreed grouping the recommendations from the workforce reviews into themed areas which has formed a programme of work.

The first phase of this work programme includes work on recommendations which is already in progress with completion dates from December 2024 until April 2025.
