To ask the Minister of Education, pursuant to AQW 18339/22-27, for a breakdown of the cost implications for reinstating the Primary Modern Languages Programme.

Answer:

As per my response to AQW 18339/22-27, given the current financial pressures facing education at this time, I have no present plans to reinstate the Primary Modern Languages Programme. As such, current cost implications have not been analysed. The programme last ran in 2014/15 with funding of £900k.
