Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 17473/22-27, whether the review of further education student support will include a review of the level of loans available to postgraduate students.


Answer:
The departmental review of Further Education student support does not include a review of the level of loans available to postgraduate students. However, I have committed to a review of Higher Education Funding, including the financial support provided to students and have instructed my officials to bring forward detailed proposals for this review. I will be considering whether the issue of postgraduate tuition fee loans is addressed through this proposed funding review or separately.
