Question:
To ask the Minister of Finance for an update on the 2024-2025 pay award for Northern Ireland Civil Service staff.

Answer:

I met recognised Civil Service Trade Unions immediately following the October Monitoring Round. At that meeting on Tuesday 12 November, I reiterated my commitment to working constructively with unions on Civil Service pay.

Officials began negotiations with unions on the 2024 pay award last. It would not be appropriate for me to make further comment while those negotiations are ongoing.
