Question:
To ask the Minister of Education whether all new school builds will be delivered to passive house standard.

Answer:

New school buildings are designed and built to exceed Building Regulations and are required to achieve a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) rating of Excellent and an energy performance rating of at least 0.6.

There are currently no plans to deliver new school builds to passive house standards.
