Question:
To ask the Minister for the Economy, pursuant to AQW 18119/22-27, to detail (i) when his Department expects to receive the independent review into paid carer's leave entitlement; and (ii) when the final report will be published.

Answer:

The Ulster University Economic Policy Centre (UUEPC) are currently undertaking an independent review of available cost and financial benefit modelling for a paid carer’s leave entitlement.

It is hoped this review will be completed in late Spring 2025. Consideration will be given to the publication of the final report in due course thereafter.
