Question:
To ask the Minister of Education when work will commence on the multi-purpose hall at St Francis' Primary School, Castlewellan.

Answer:

Departmental officials are currently completing a Business Case for the provision of a multi-purpose hall at St Francis’ Primary School.

Progression of this scheme requires the vesting of additional land, and this process has been instigated by my department.

Delivery of the scheme also depends on statutory approvals, including planning permission, as well as budget availability at tender stage.

Given the early stage of this project, I am currently unable to provide a definite commencement date for the work. However, officials will keep the school updated on progress.
