Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities to detail any steps he took during 2024 to explore the use of Shared Island funding to improve facilities for the playing of team sports.

Answer:

I have not corresponded with the Irish government in relation to the Shared Island Fund.

As I stated in my response to AQW 6098/22-27, I continue to look forward to working with the widest range of funding partners where there is an opportunity to improve investment in communities, including in sporting facilities in Northern Ireland.
