To ask the Minister of Finance to detail any measures being implemented to ensure the ethical use of artificial intelligence in public policy development.

Answer:

The Head of the Policy Profession in the Civil Service has commissioned work to consider how the policy function in Departments can use generative artificial intelligence effectively and appropriately.
