Question:
To ask the Minister of Education to provide the link to the current Transformation to Integrated Status process guidance and templates as of January 2025.

Answer:

Transformation is the legal process in which a non-Integrated school becomes integrated. This process is set out in the legislation in the Education Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 (link).

The supporting Transformation guidance can be accessed on the Department of Education website at - Integration Works Transforming Your School (link).

My officials are currently reviewing the Transformation guidance to ensure it is fit for purpose. Any new guidance will continue to reflect the statutory Transformation process set out in the legislation.
