Incidents of damage to prison property may result in adjudication against the prisoner(s) under Prison Rules. In most cases of deliberate and malicious damage, details are passed to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) for their consideration. Prosecutions are a matter for the PSNI and the Public Prosecution Service.
