Question:
To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQO 1138/22-27, for an update on the progress of the review of Minimum Standards for Childminding and Day Care for Children Under Age 12.

Answer:

I will be seeking views on adult: child ratios through a public consultation exercise in the coming weeks. Work will also be undertaken in partnership with a stakeholder reference group to update the wider Minimum Standards document, with a view to consulting on and implementing a new set of Standards by December 2025.
