Question:
To ask the Minister of Health whether he has considered 24-hour minor injury facilities within communities to ease pressure on Emergency Departments.

Answer:
When establishing minor injury facilities and urgent care services across the province, operating hours were considered and agreed within the context of demand and resources available, and within the context of existing urgent and emergency care service provision in each Trust.
All Trusts have minor injury units associated with their acute hospital or attached to a community hospital(s).
