To ask the Minister of Finance, pursuant to AQW 20136/22-27, to detail the (i) terms of reference; and (ii) membership of the Civil Service AI Working Group.

Answer:

(i) The AI Working Group referenced in AQW 20136/22-27 is an informal group of departmental representatives, established to share early learnings and best practice in terms of harnessing opportunities for AI to be potentially used across the Civil Service. There is no official Terms of Reference for the group who have no decision making powers.

(ii) The membership of the AI Working Group is made up of ICT Level 8 staff from across departments.
