Question:
To ask the Minister of Health to detail any funding that has been available to facilitate nursing home care in North Down in the last five years.

Answer:

North Down is situated in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (SEHSCT). SEHSCT representatives have advised that it is not possible to provide a value solely relating to nursing care homes based in the North Down locality.

SEHSCT representatives have advised that their trust’s total payments to Nursing Homes, in the financial year 2023/24 was £56,358,400 and in the financial year 2024/25 is £52,317,629.00 to date.
