Question:
To ask the Minister for Communities whether he will put in arrangements in place, along with the Housing Executive, to require all developments of ten social housing units or more to include a bus stop, at least two accessible and sustainable bus shelters and road space to enable access by an Ulsterbus-sized public transport vehicle to travel in and out of the residential space.

Answer:
There are no plans to make these a requirement for social housing schemes with 10 or more units. Requirements for public transport are contained within the “Creating Places” document used by the Planning Service when assessing the planning principles for residential developments.
