Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether his Department is considering the removal of the C1 licence requirement for electric vans, in order to bring Northern Ireland in line with Great Britain on the issue of licence derogation.

Answer:

The introduction of similar licencing changes here would be subject to the outcome of a public consultation process. The Department plans to commence work on this as soon as resources allow.
