Question:
To ask the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the estimated timeline for the construction of Moylinn Footbridge, Craigavon.

Answer:

My Department remains committed to taking forward the replacement of Moylinn East Footbridge. I can confirm that the contract tender process has now concluded, and it is expected that a full contract award, subject to any legal challenges, will be made by the end of January 2025.

At this time my Department does not have a scheme commencement date, although my officials will continue to liaise directly with the appointed contractor in order to find a suitable window for the commencement of works onsite.
